Feel the pure exuberance of this zebra taking a dust bath in the late afternoon sun, in spite of being  most vunerable to predators – maybe it’s worth the risk?  Nevertheless, zebras need to groom themselves in this way to free themselves of ticks and other parasites, as well as have a good scratch!  

I created this image in watercolour on acid-free 300gsm Arches paper.
